Sound Off on Student Debt Town Hall & Workshop

If advancing one’s education is the answer to ensuring success within our country, students should not leave college with the same amount of debt as a mortgage would cost.

This load is too great for our nation’s youth to bear, which is why I invite anyone who is currently or interested in pursuing post-secondary education or training to join me at the Sound Off on Student Debt Town Hall and Workshop on Wednesday, April 4. I encourage you to tell me your thoughts so that I may continue to urge Republicans and Democrats in Congress to make college affordability a high priority.

Please join me for a special Sound Off on Student Debt Town Hall and Workshop. We've invited representatives from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, local financial aid counselors and student loan lenders.
