On Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, Community Coalition celebrated the achievements of our latest graduating class of South Central Youth Empowered thru Action (SCYEA) seniors.

There were 13 seniors in our SCYEA graduation and their families came out to cheer for their amazing students who have demonstrated leadership and academic success.

This year, our SCYEA program proudly congratulates 11 of our seniors who were accepted to four-year universities. Our youth were accepted to the University of California Los Angeles, University of California at Santa Barbara, University of California at Santa Cruz, California State University at Los Angeles, California State University at Northridge, and California State University at Long Beach.
